Certification UK

The UK is quite different from USA in terms of requirements and considerably less stringent. No specific licence is required to practice with QXCI-SCIO devices. The principle requirement is to ensure that the user can be insured, either as an addition to an existing modality or separately.

The Levels of Certification are under constant review to account for registration requirements that will eventually come into force.

Current levels are:

Certificate of Competence: the minimum for Insurance
Level 1 Certificate: competence in basic use: Level 1 (2 day) training and questionnaire
Certificate in Wellness Screening: Level 1 (2 day) training and questionnaire
Certificate in Allergy Screening: Level 1 (2 day) training and questionnaire

Certificate of Competence

The Certificate of Competence is a prerequisite to issuance of insurance. It is essentially a “Safe Use” document.

The issuance of a Certificate of Competence indicates only that the user has been presented with the information relevant to safe use of the Quantum/QXCI device and, in the pinion of the trainer, has appeared to appreciate the relevant points. The issuance of a certificate in no way is a comment on the ability or otherwise of a practitioner to be of benefit to clients or in the therapeutic use or validity of the QX device.

This certificate will only be issued in conjunction with Level 1 training or information demonstrating that this equivalence has been achieved.

It requires certification that as a QXCI use you are in possession of:

1. Safety Guidelines for using the QXCI/SCIO.
2. Insurance Information
3. Relevant User manuals

and

that you have read the Safety Guidelines and clarified with a Certified trainer where necessary

and

completion of the relevant questionnaires and case studies

1. Competence questionnaire
2. Two Allergy Case Studies: using the Allergy Screening Format.
3. Two Nutrition Case Studies: using the Nutrition Screening Format.
4. Two Wellness Screens using the Wellness Screening Format
5. Two complete profiles using the Assessment Profile Form
